Volkswagen plans to sell more electric cars than Tesla. And for that, it has already launched an electric offensive, launching the first member of the new zero-emission generation, ID. Other models are in the works.

Volkswagen has announced that it plans to sell at least 28 million electric vehicles by 2028, produce one million such vehicles annually by 2023, and 3 million a year starting in 2024.
